About Us

uni-power was established in 1986 by Ray Brown, a former employee of Autocar (The original Briggs & Stratton UK Distributor), he saw a gap in the market for a Specialist Engine, Transmission & Parts Dealer to serve the Industrial Trade & Original Equipment Manufacturer sector.

Since 1986 the business model has not altered, we do not sell end products, which would place us in direct competition with our customers.

Via our dedicated Service Division with 2 x field support vehicles (Additional support vehicle to be added in 2018) we offer full Service & Warranty support, including 3rd Party Warranty for Direct OEM Machine Dealers; we are the Stiga UK (GGP, Mountfield/Atco) Supplier of choice for their Dealer Network & attend their Conference & Roadshows each year.

Regular advertising is conducted in various Trade Publications (Service Dealer, Executive Hire News, Turf Matters & Karting Magazine), we also exhibit at the annual IOG Saltex & Executive Hire Trade Shows; we have an extensive company website with protected trade account login, parts catalogues, live stock availability & full digital marketing (AdWords, SEO etc.); our Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn accounts are in the process of being created.

At the end of 2017 we expanded our business operations by moving our Service Division into the adjoining warehouse, this has now increased our warehousing capacity to 10,000 square feet; further development of both business units & our general company operations/services is planned throughout 2018 to increase productivity & efficiency.
